Paralegal

Nicole Taylor is a communications coordinator with strong editorial judgement and a keen advocate for gender equality. She completed her MA in Journalism at the University of Sheffield as an academic scholarship recipient. She is NCTJ accredited, including in media law and ethics.
Her interest in the family justice system began with her MA project; an investigation into the family courts, particularly on survivors of domestic abuse who were being failed. Throughout this investigation, she used trauma-informed approaches to communicating with survivors and writing their stories.
She is also the Communications Officer at Right to Equality, an organisation founded by Dr Charlotte Proudman that campaigns for gender equality under the law. Prior to joining Proudmans, she volunteered as the podcast producer for Right to Equality where she worked on the ‘Spotlight on Violence Against Women and Girls’ series, liaising with advocates, experts and professionals across the sector.
